Boil-water warning issued for East Manatee RV park

EAST MANATEE - The county utility department today issued a notice that water will be cut off to the Horseshoe Cove RV Resort on Friday for water-main work.

Once water pressure is restored after 5:30 p.m. Friday, residents are being told to boil tap water or use bottled water for 24 hours to ensure the water is safe.

Horseshoe Cove is in the 5100 block of 60th Street East.

The Utility Operations Department of Manatee County issued the notice.

"All residents in the...resort will be affected," a news release from the department said.

Anyone with questions was advised to phone the department at 792-8811 ext 5216 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and 747-HELP after 4:30 p.m.
